In the works from Warner Home Video, a 14-disk set featuring all three Christopher Reeve "Superman" movies and lots and lots of bonus material, including director Richard Donner's cut of "Superman II," which is 40 percent longer than the released version. According to the Hollywood Reporter: "Donner was fired 70% into the shoot, and much of what he filmed has been locked away in the vaults. Newly restored footage includes an alternate opening in which Lois Lane suspects Clark Kent is the Man of Steel and then almost dies trying to prove it."
