Dark Horse Comics has set up a special page to highlight its upcoming "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" series, which picks up where the TV series left off. Buffy creator Joss Whedon will handle some of the scripts, including the first arc. Some details:

Great stuff. New character insights. Hilarious nods to continuity. Expert pacing, and an unhurried reveal of characters: only three of the principles, including Buffy, in those first twenty-two pages.

Lady, That's My Skull directs us to some great new art by Joe Kubert for the U.S. Army tech publication Preventive Maintenance Monthly, which shows soldiers how to keep equipment in working order. Cartoonist Will Eisner pioneered the publication decades ago and Kubert has been doing it for some time.
