Pop Focus: Joe Kubert's Heroes World Catalog

Rather than using photos, mail order outfit Heroes World hired Joe Kubert's School of Comic Book art to illustrate its wares comic book style, in a comic-size format.

The art is by Kubert, his staff and students.

The result is a unique look at superhero merchandising of the 1970s. I remember owning some of this stuff, and wanting even more of it!

These scans come from the 1979 catalog, which I purchased on eBay a few years back.
