New Batman series for 2013: Beware the Batman
Warner Bros. is developing a new CGI- animated Batman series for 2013. Here's the skinny:
The next Batman animated series, debuting in 2013, is titled Beware the Batman. According to Register, the CGI animated series will spotlight a classic-looking Batman teaming up with a gun-toting Alfred Pennyworth and a female ninja sidekick. Beware the Batman is executive-produced by Glen Murakami, and will also explore the mythology’s more obscure villains, such as Professor Pyg, but will also feature mainstays such as The Joker and The Penguin. In the series, Batman will team up with a younger female sidekick named Katana. During the keynote, Register added that Katana will fill the sidekick role, but won't be a replacement for Robin.
Guitarist Bert Jansch dies
Influential British folk/rock guitarist Bert Jansch, famed for his stint in the Pentangle, has passed away at age 67, NME reports.
A virtuoso acoustic guitar player, the 67-year-old is widely considered to have influenced the likes of Jimmy Page, Johnny Marr, Graham Coxon and Pete Doherty, with whom he has collaborated live. Jansch also appeared on Babyshambles' 2007 album 'Shotter's Nation', playing guitar on closing track 'The Lost Art Of Murder'.

Elton John and Stephen Fry to guest on upcoming Kate Bush album
Actor Stephen Fry and Elton John will both contribute guest vocals to Kate Bush's upcoming album 50 Words for Snow, the Guardian reports.
Fry probably doesn't sing on 50 Words for Snow. But it's confirmed that he appears on the title track. "Just done a lovely amazing recording thing with a lively amazing musician," he wrote last month, remaining secretive. Eventually he fessed up: "Can now reveal it was this with the divine Kate Bush."
