Marvel kicks off Jack Kirby Week 2016

It's so nice to see Marvel officially paying homage to the co-creator of its flagship characters. After decades of conflict, the publisher and the estate of Jack Kirby have finally come to terms and are playing nicely.

In celebration of what would be the artist's 99th birthday Aug. 28, Marvel this week is celebrating some of his greatest creations with a series of online articles. First up is a piece on the Hulk, created by Kirby and Stan Lee back in 1962.
