Y'know from the godawful title (with parentheses, no less) this has gotta be a slice of pscychedelic goodness. And it is.
Vocally, it sounds a bit like the Zombies, but with some nice phasey/backwards horns mid-way in and Who-like electric guitar strums. A nice package.
I have no idea what the lyrics are on about. A bad trip in the band's rehearsal space? They list a variety of mysterious, uncomfortable images and end with singer Peter Daltrey (no relation to the Who's Roger, I guess) intoning "My God! The spiders are everywhere." But the spacy musical backdrop makes the Room of Percussion a pleasant place to spend some time.
