"Spider-Man" director Sam Raimi is slated to do a "Shadow" film.
A "Shadow" movie has long been a dream project for Raimi, and the crime-fighter's influence can be seen in Raimi's 1990 movie, "Darkman."
"I've been a passionate Shadow fan ever since I was a kid and have long dreamed of bringing this character to the screen," Raimi said.

Matt Damon is open to playing Capt. Kirk in a new "Star Trek" movie, but hasn't been cast in the role--contrary to rumors.
"If the script was good, I'd do it," Damon said in an interview while promoting his latest film, The Good Shepherd. "But, yeah, I heard that [rumor]. I think J.J. Abrams or somebody said that at press junket or something, and it got picked up [by the media and Star Trek fans]."
