DC Comics has announced the creative team for its comics based on the upcoming J.J. Abrams TV series "Fringe." The first issues will come out before the show airs, serving as a sort of prequel.
The first issue will feature stories written by Zack Whedon, Julia Cho, Alex Katsnelson, Danielle DiSpaltro with art by Tom Mandrake and Simon Coleby.
Fringe #1 will be in stores on Sept. 3.
The television series will launch with a two-hour premiere on Fox on Tuesday, Sept. 9.
