Amazon has opened Never Before On DVD area on its site offering on-demand disks of movies and TV shows not otherwise available.
The model is similar to Warner Bros. Warner Archive store, which does small pressings of TV shows and movies not in wider release. In fact, it looks as if Amazon offers Warner Archive titles as part of its new endeavor, too.
Currently, Amazon "Never Before" listings offer nearly 1,600 movie and more than 270 TV series. Here are some of the most-requested titles:
