Browsing the holiday catalogs of Sears, J.C. Penney and Montgomery Ward was a holiday season highlight for me as a kid. I'd pore of the pictures for hours, dreaming of Santa maybe bringing some of these things for me.
I also was a major G.I. Joe fan, and loved the pictures and imaginative layouts of them in the wishbooks.
I was a really lucky kid over the years: I got that cool frogman and sea sled set in 1970! I also had the helicopter and Adventure Team mobile unit. Not the space capsule or submarine, though...

Cool! I had the Mummy's Tomb adventure and also the Deep Sea Diver set. That ATV was pretty neat.
