BBC Radio Highlights this Week: 'Rise and Rise of the Ukulele,' 'The Wager,' 'Kill the Pharoah!' and More

The Listening Service: Jumping Fleas: the Rise and Rise of the Ukulele - Tom Service explores the world of the Ukulele, from the Hawaiian Royal Court of King Kalakaua to Blackpool Pier with George Formby, the Royal Albert Hall where hundreds of ukulele players performed Beethoven's Ode to Joy at the 2009 BBC Proms, and into thousands of classrooms where it's now the most widely taught instrument in British primary schools.

Book of the Week: "The Wager" -David Grann's story of shipwreck, mutiny and survival begins. In 18th-century Britain, preparations are underway for a secret mission on the high seas. Luke Treadaway reads.

Elizabeth Warwick, the daughter of a famous archaeologist, is visiting Egypt to find the tomb her father had discovered before his death. At Luxor she is met by Fuad, a young Egyptian associate of her father. But is the man really Fuad?
