Ulster in Focus profiles the writer and folklorist Michael J. Murphy. Michael was born in Liverpool, but moved to Dromintee in County Armagh as a child in 1922. Michael has dedicated much of his life to preserving the oral traditions - the folklore, stories, tales and beliefs - of Ulster.
Michael spends a pleasant afternoon in the foothills of Slieve Gullion, visiting places of interest - his old family home and school, a famous fairy bush, a giant's grave, the Kilnasaggart Stone, and Moyry Castle - and recounting some of the many tales he has accumulated over the years.
