I wish I could be in New York this week to visit the "pop-up" Jack Kirby Museum.
Featuring works by the co-creator of most of the Marvel Comic Universe (Fantastic Four, Hulk, Captain America, X-Men, Silver Surfer, etc., etc.) the museum is open this week only in a temporary structure in the Lower East Side, where Kirby grew up.
The temporary museum is a project of the non-profit Jack Kirby Museum and Research Center, which hopes there may be a bricks-and-mortar Kirby museum one day.
Congrats to the Kirby Museum folks for pulling this off!
