ITEM! Jack Kirby's son, Neal, has released a statement regarding the new Stan Lee documentary on Disney+, which reportedly downplays Jack's instrumental contributions in creating the Marvel Universe.

Marvel Comics has settled lawsuits filed Larry Lieber and the estates of Don Heck, Gene Colan and Don Rico over their co-creation of several characters, including Iron Man, Ant-Man and Captain Marvel. Legal action by the estate of Steve Ditko over his co-creation of Spider-Man and Doctor Strange are still unresolved, however.
