Vintage Pink Floyd LPs coming on vinyl Sept. 23

Via the news release:
Pink Floyd Records will continue the reintroduction of the Pink Floyd catalogue on vinyl with the release of  "Atom Heart Mother", "Meddle" and "Obscured By Clouds" on September 23, 2016.  Each record has been remastered from the original analogue master tapes.  "The Wall" and "The Division Bell" will also be back in stock on vinyl starting August 26, 2016.
Pink Floyd followed their '60s albums with their fifth studio album, "Atom Heart Mother" in 1970.  Featuring the classic lineup of Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Richard Wright and Nick Mason, the LP went on to become the band's first UK #1 record.
During a short break from touring "Atom Heart Mother" in 1971, Pink Floyd released the experimental album "Meddle".  The LP saw the band move musical direction away from their original psychedelic sound, especially highlighted by the 23-minute track "Echoes" which occupied the entire b-side of the record.
Pink Floyd's seventh album, "Obscured By Clouds" was originally recorded as the soundtrack to the French film "La Vallee" but was released as a stand alone album in 1972.
"The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn", "A Saucerful Of Secrets", "More", "Ummagumma" are also currently available through Pink Floyd Records.

See the cover for the new Pink Floyd album

Ahmed Emad Eldin, an 18-year-old artist from Egypt, was selected to create the cover of the new Pink Floyd album, The Endless River.

Out in November...
the album is described as a “tribute” to Rick Wright, Pink Floyd’s keyboardist who died in 2008, and features his contributions from 1993 sessions for The Division Bell album, which have been enhanced by David Gilmour and Nick Mason.

Storm Thorgerson, the graphic designer whose surreal covers for Floyd’s classic albums, including Dark Side... immeasurably enhanced the group’s mystique, died last year prompting an international search for an artistic successor.

Aubrey Powell, Thorgerson’s partner in the Hipgnosis design studio, discovered Eldin. Powell said: “When we saw Ahmed’s image it had an instant Floydian resonance. It’s enigmatic and open to interpretation, and is the cover that works so well for The Endless River.”

Major Pink Floyd reissue campaign on the way?

It looks like the Pink Floyd catalog, or a chunk of it, will be out in greatly expanded form in September. I hadn't heard of these previously, but Amazon lists the following releases, with pictures. The "immersion" box sets include several disks (studio outtakes? Live recordings? Both?), while the "experience" releases are double-CDs. Looks like there will be some single-disk reissues of LPs, too. More details as they surface.
