The BBC is planning a Doctor Who stage show.

Arenas like London's O2 and the NEC in Birmingham are being considered as venues for the multimedia production, The Sun reports.

It will include a light and sound show and 3-D video footage featuring The Doctor alongside Cybermen, Sontarans and the Daleks.

An insider said: "They want it to be a Doctor Who experience which will blast fans with amazing visuals and music.

"The emphasis will be on technology so it's unlikely any of the show's stars will be on stage.

Happy Brotherhood Week Pt. 1: Vintage comic books ads

Back in the 1950s, DC Comics regularly ran public service ads for National Social Welfare Assembly promoting harmony between people of difference races, creeds and nationality.

And many of these ads promoted National Brotherhood Week, which was sponsored by the National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ) (formerly known as the National Conference of Christians and Jews) from the 1940s to the 1980s.

Brother- and sisterhood, mutual respect and the search for common ground is something I can certainly support. So, right here, at PCS, we're bringing Brotherhood Week back. Stay tuned for more of these vintage ads throughout the next few days.

Estelle Bennett, former singer with The Ronettes and sister of Veronica Bennett-Spector, has died, the BBC reports.

Bennett's brother-in-law, Jonathan Greenfield, said..."Estelle was Ronnie's sidekick."

"She was very much into fashion and worked with Ronnie on the whole look and style of the Ronettes," he added.

...The two sisters and their cousin Nedra Talley signed with Spector's Philles Records in 1963.

Their recording of Be My Baby went to number two in the US that year.

Their other hits included Walkin' in the Rain and Baby I Love You.
