Zoom Into the Amazing Art of George Pérez!

George Pérez, who died May 6, was one of the all-time best superhero artists, with seminal stints on the Avengers, Teen Titans and Wonder Woman to his credit. But he drew just about everyone in the Marvel and DC universes—sometimes all within the same panel! 

As the art on display here highlights, he was a master of design, draftsmanship, visual storytelling and imbuing characters with emotion and personality. 

He will be greatly missed, but his art and influence will live on.
