New Squeeze tour/album on the way
Squeeze is one of my favorite groups, although -- as with most bands -- the later albums aren't nearly as good as the earlier ones. Still I'm interested in anything new they'd turn out and would love to see the reunited band live.
This interview with co-leader Chris Difford says the band has a new album in the works. Presumably that means new material, but I've also recently become aware of this peculiar project. Either way, I'm eager to hear it.

A look at Steranko's funny book special effects
Artist Jim Steranko did innovative work for Marvel in the late 60s, incorporating all sorts of nifty op-art effects into his stories. Diversions of the Groovy Kind offers a nice selection here.
On e-Bay: Superman newspaper comic sample book
This 1938 booklet was used to help sell the Superman comic strip to newspapers. The auction listing features some nice scans.
