Sad news: Gordon Francis Bailey Jr., creator and editor of the Nostalgia Journal passed away last month. Bailey's 'zine was part of the huge 1970s nostalgia craze and gave roots to what eventually became the Comics Journal.

Bailey was a prolific author, too, writing a number of non-fiction, fantasy and science fiction books over his career. There's a tribute to him here.
